Teahupoo is one of the most infamous lefts on the planet. In recent history we saw Laird Hamilton ride the perfect but deadly Millennium wave which was followed by Shane Dorian, Ian Walsh and other chargers raising the bar for surfing the heavy barreling left.

When this place fires you have to give it due respect. This clip shows some serious beatings at Chopes along with some epic rides that would have you stoked for years to come. Pain meets glory!
